Project
overview
Restoration and refurbishment of a large five storey private House.
The appointed designer provided an overall design treatment for
the property; working from these concepts Roseland were responsible
for designing and implementing structural elements and all electrical
and mechanical services. One intricate part of the contract was
to remove the existng basement staircase and replace it with a new
Portland stone staircase in a new position. Roseland were resonsible
for all applications to, and liason with, Listed Buildings and Building
Control.

summary
Strengthening existing
ground, first and second floors by inserting steel plates bolted
to each side of existing floor joists making sure existing ceilings
and ornate period features were not disturbed.
Complete
renewal of electrical services including alarm systems and high-spec
communication cabling. All wiring carried out in pre-formed service
ducts and trunking. Continued
