Project
summary continued
Plumbing and heating system
replaced with a pressurised system, zoned to give maximum control.
Installation carried out through pre-planned service routes giving
minimum disturbance to existing finishes.
Stone staircase
removed and replaced with new Portland stone staircase
in new position to give better access to basement area, all work
was carried out in close consultation with Listed Buildings and
Building Control.
Bathrooms designed
and fitted with green slate slabs to floor and wall areas. Marble
to vanity tops and floor areas in other bathrooms.
Bespoke joinery
pieces fitted to study and dressing room, all with specialist storage
areas, many pieces finished with traditional detailing to match
the period of the property.
Timber floors
restored, large areas of panelled oak parquet flooring renewed and
matched where structural repairs were carried out. New oak floors
laid to other areas.
Plaster finishes
and fibrous plaster repairs carried out to restore many areas. Decoration
to all rooms, many with specialist finishes. Complete external decoration.
